Airport High School Haunted Forest
Do you dare…??? Visit the Airport High School Haunted Forest and get ready to SCREAM! From graveyards to ghouls…it’s behind Sterling School…at Grafton and Fessner in Carleton.

The Haunted Forest is created and built by Airport Band Students every year. A student committee leads this important fundraiser for the Band Boosters. New ideas and themes are devised by the students. Parent volunteers assist in the developed of the Forest throughout September. Forest ghouls, ghosts and goblins are performed by band students and Band Booster members.
Lantern Tours, Navarre Anderson Trading Post
The 2011 Lantern Tours at Navarre-Anderson Trading Post will be held Oct. 14 and 15, and Oct. 21 and 22.
Tickets cost $10 per person, $5 per child, which includes refreshments. All tickets are via advance paid reservations, check or cash, available at the Monroe County Historical Museum starting 10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 1, 2011.
This year's story line will feature the year 1811, in the months befor the War of 1812 and the Battle of the River Raisin. The actors will discuss the 1811 earthquake, the building of Native American forces and alliances, spies and suspicion among the settlements and the growing pressures on General Hull.
