New Steamboat
(Monroe Commercial, June 30, 1870, p3c1)
A new steamboat, the A.D. Perkins, built and owned by Capt. John Cooper, was christened last week. She is provided with a thirteen horsepower engine, and will carry upwards of a hundred passengers. The A.D. Perkins is a neat little craft, and is to be used we believe as a tug and for pleasure.
