STEAMBOAT MAZEPPA
This fast boat has been purchased from Messrs. Wilkeson & Sons by Capt. Whittaker, who intends running her from Havre, Mich. to Perrysburgh and Detroit, stopping at the intermediate ports. She left port this day, loaded with the rigging, iron, &c. for a new ship out of 400 tuns, which Capt. W. is fitting out at Havre to be ready for sailing in the spring. Such is the well known safety of this harbor that a large number of steamboats and schooners are to be wintered there.-Buff. Dai. Jour.
