Is the book you need today unavailable from your local library? If so, don’t give up hope! It could be one of the more than 10,000 full text books that are free to download from the Internet.

IPL (Internet Public Library) - Check out the “Reading Room” to see a list of the websites that have the electronic book titles that are available to anyone. Be sure to take a look at the Kid Space for homework help.

Visit Your Local Library Branch
We have thousands of books spread throughout 16 branches! Check with us for a variety of books that will help with most of your subjects like History, English, Math, Psychology and more.
In addition, most of the branches have a set of encyclopedias that can be taken home.

For more specialized research, the Ellis and Bedford branches have hundreds of reference books that also provide helpful information, including sets of Literary Criticisms that can’t be found on the Internet!
